Ovie Ejaria grabbed a brace as Reading defeated Fulham 2-1 at the Craven Cottage on Saturday.
It was the first home defeat for Fulham in the Sky Bet Championship this season.
Ejaria put Reading ahead on 19 minutes sending an unstoppable shot past Paulo Gazzaniga.
He collected a looped pass inside the area and controlled expertly to slot into the corner.
Rodrigo Muniz reduced the deficit for the hosts four minutes from time .
The Royals held on for a nervous six minutes added time which included a miraculous save from Luke Southwood to deny Onomah a contender for goal of the season.
