Breaking: SSANIP suspends ‘sit at home’ directive, urges members to resume work

The Federal Polytechnic Bida Chapter of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Polytechnics (SSANIP) has suspended the ‘sit at home’ directive it issued its members November 29 last year, citing security challenges on campus.

This was contained in a memo jointly signed by its Chairperson, Mrs Ruth Bawa and Secretary, Salihu Mohammed Almustapha, and released today.

According to the memo, “the Executive met and reviewed the security situation on campus and observed that the working environment is now conducive for our members to resume work.”

The union urged members to resume work Monday 6th of January, 2020.
